Our Business

In the year 2000 and at that time "just friends", we started to pool together our lives knowledge and resources to start an outdoor family and friends weekend of fun. We found a site with cabins, beds, kitchen, rest rooms, showers pools and recreation areas. We prepared meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner, added games, a talent show and nights of dancing under the stars. That went so well we did it again for the next five years.

Then we, well Tammy in July of 2006, planned our wedding, the best day of my life and it didn’t hurt our pockets at all, paid in full.

 As our family and friends children grew older and times began to get tighter we knew if we wanted to continue we would have to reach out to our community. But, In order to do that we had to create a business.

Our costs increased and were both were laid off in 2008. But, the layoffs motivated us to formally give birth to The Camping Party LLC.

We became Event Planners and Caterers at the Federal, State and Local levels and we are SWAM certified. We have learned to stay in business and serve our community while many others have had to close their doors.

 We have and will continue to work hard to see that our clients have fun and eat well.

Tammy L. Dungee

A lifelong Care Giver and Provider to family, friends and co-workers; over 30 years in the Banking Industry mastering task as an Information Technician and in Bank Operations.

Presently assisting, a Bank Mortgage Department.  Plus, helping others to become Financially Independent business owners and teaching proper skin care.

Rob Dungee

During the more than 25 years in Radio Broadcasting, as an announcer, Tom Joyner morning show Producer and Production Assistant for a National Production Manager, has spent almost equal time in Great Kitchens around the city and the state while in the Army National Guards.

Currently, helping new business leaders grow as an independent account executive with Hoffman communications while assisting in the housekeeping and operations departments, at the Richmond Coliseum and Landmark Theater. Always ready to cook for Church activities when the need arise.
